Having announced their new album’s release date to be postponed, with pre-release on I-tunes set for Tuesday, 2/26, Major Lazer gives a free album to their fans as apology.
Noting that “The upcoming Major Lazer album, ”Free the Universe,” has been been kidnapped by General Rubbish and we all must embark on an epic journey to upset his evil plan so Major Lazer can free the universe as planned with the album,” Major Lazer has released a set of yet unheard remixes of their original tracks for free. Lazer Strikes Back Vol.1 is an intense electro filled album with tons of party potential. Major Lazer’s extended dub of “Look at Where We Are” by Hot Chip has some wild electro synth drops, guaranteed to make you want to move your feet.
